Safeguarding
Our goal is always to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children through early intervention, vigilant and rigorous safeguarding procedures and through effective and efficient record keeping. We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment not only for our pupils but also our staff, visitors and families. To us, safeguarding means; ensuring children grow up with the provision of safe and effective care, preventing harm to their health and development, protecting them from maltreament and abuse and enabling them children to have the best outcomes. Care is taken in ensuring that staff employed to work with us are safe to be with our students. employed with our children’s safety at heart and we follow safer recruitment practices at all times.
Our Designated safeguarding leads (DSL) are Mr Jack Durant, Ms Adele Hattingh and Ms Ruth Davies. The DSL takes lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection (this includes online safety) and is available to provide advice and support to other staff on child welfare and child protection matters.
