The English curriculum promotes high standards of language and literacy by aiming to equip students with the strongest possible command of spoken and written English. Students are supported to develop reading fluency and comprehension; and apply those skills to real life situations. Students also continue to develop their writing skills by being given opportunities to write for different purposes using both conventional methods and technology.
