Al Karamah believes that parents are the most important partners in a child's education and schools can reap large dividends by capitalizing on their support. To be effective, such relationships require a lot of fostering by educators, therapists, and parents. Although success will not come easy, the rewards are too great for a school not to try.
As a school that used evidenced based practice to support students, research shows that parent involvement can improve students' behavior, attendance, and achievement.
Al Karamah takes an active role in helping parents acquire a variety of ways to feel empowered and be involved in their children's success pathways. As part of Al Karamah commitment and mission to support parents, we are using workshops and other school-based programs to help parents learn about what goes on in classrooms. We offer monthly parental training delivered by a highly qualified group of multi-disciplinary therapists and educators. From the first day of school to the last, our goal is to empower parents and ensure that we help you and your child to create opportunities to be an independent functional part of the community.
