I am an experienced practitioner who is passionate about teaching and learning and pupil progress and development. I have a strong commitment for inclusive education and a goal to ensuring equal opportunities for all pupils whatever their ability. I believe that young people regardless of their starting points should have the best possible education. After completing my Teaching Training and Qualified Teacher Status in 2004 I worked in several mainstream schools in London and consistently sought to be an advocate of continued professional development. After completing a Law degree at the University of London, I went on to study a Master’s in Educational Leadership, the NPQSL programme and a Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning at the University College London. I am a qualified SENCO and have held various positions including Head of Inclusion & SENCo, SSAT Lead Practitioner and Moderator, Specialist Leader of Education (SLE), Head of Science and STEM Coordinator. Since joining Al Karamah school, as a Senior Teacher I have worked with the Explorer team focussing on Teaching and Learning and raising the profile of science through various planned science activities and events. Last year I completed the Primary Science Quality Mark Programme and led the school accreditation process for the PSQM Quality Mark. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, photography, water sports, dining out and exploring various cultural cuisine.
