Sara Teele joined Al Karamah in January of 2023, and is a licensed special educator with a passion for fostering Autism acceptance and empowerment. She holds an M.S.Ed. in Severe Disabilities with an Autism Specialization from Simmons University, USA.

Sara's career in accessible education spans across diverse settings, such as being a job coach for vocational students, an inclusion specialist in general education settings, as well as a teacher for primary aged children in special schools and residential programs. She believes in adapting her teaching style to fit the unique learning and sensory needs of each child.

Outside of her work, Sara enjoys traveling, yoga, reading, and swimming. She has a seven-year-old dog, who she loves to explore Abu Dhabi’s beautiful deserts with on camping trips.
