Ben studied BA (Hons) Inclusive Education before completing a PGCE in Special Educational Needs in 2018. He worked in a 3-19 special school in South Wales specifically for children with Autism for 6 years. Over these years Ben taught in all phases of the school and adapted his teaching to meet the pupil’s individual communication, sensory, behavioural and academic needs. Prior to teaching Ben worked with children and young people with a range of special educational needs in both play and community settings.
Ben moved to the UAE in August 2022 and has been based in AKTI since. He promotes independent living skills in all areas of his teaching to ensure his pupils are as prepared as they can be for their life after Al Karamah.
