Matthew studied BSc (Hons) Mathematics with Management at University of Liverpool and went on to complete a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics at Edge Hill University in the UK. He has 17 years teaching experience, 12 of those years in Abu Dhabi and 9 in the senior leadership teams of various schools.

Matthew joined Al Karamah School in 2021 as the Senior for Transition and Explorers and he is thoroughly enjoying the experience and challenge presented here, the facilities, staff and of course the young people we serve, make it a wonderful place.

Matthew is a devoted father of two boys, so outside of working hours you will catch him in the malls, cinemas, sports fields, theme parks and of course the beautiful beaches of Abu Dhabi.
