Highlights
AKTI students have been accessing the community and developing our Life Skills abilities. We have been to a variety of places and greatly enjoyed the opportunity to put our class based learnt skills into action.
The girls greatly enjoyed their trip to Nation Towers Vox Cinema. We applied the skills we have been learning about sequencing stories to retell the movie- Barbie Mermaid Power.
Akti Students were invited to visit al Meerath Studios ; Our students had the opportunity to make self portrait sculptures using clay. We developed the Art skills we have been learning in our Life Skills lessons.

Abu Dhabi National Aquarium:
The students enjoyed walking through the various zones in the aquarium and we took many photos of them in various locations enjoying the fish and other animal life on display. The group had a quick walk through the ground floor then went upstairs for snack.
We then brought the group through a second time spending a little longer at all the exhibits. The group also enjoyed spending time in the educational zone and took time to colour in pictures of the various creatures on computer screens and then posted their pictures to a wall with their names on them
